Zazie Beetz, born 1991 Born in 1991, she was raised in Berlin. Her father is a German cabinet maker who emigrated to America in the year 1990. United States in 1990 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South Africa-American social worker who hails from New York. Jennifer Aniston is also a graduate of the same highschool. Following her graduation from LaGuardia, Beetz went on to pursue a degree in French in Skidmore College. She auditioned for the college immediately for the role as Van in Atlanta. Born in Berlin to an German father and an African-American mother Beetz was raised within New York speaking both German as well as English at home. Zazie was doing shows on community and local stages in her early years. When she was in grade school, she discovered acting and eventually became a professional actor. Zendaya was able to land the Disney Channel breakout role thanks her amazing dance skills. In 2010, the actor and dancer got her first break-out role when she was cast as Rocky Blue in the show "Shake It Up" with co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya became vegetarian at the age of eleven after passing by a killinghouse with her father on a roadtrip. PEOPLE reports that Zendaya said, "I found it horrifying to look at the entire animals that were being crammed inside, awaiting to be killed." "I would never believed it was how I'd been obtaining my meat!" She's been eating predominantly plant-based food ever since.
