Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I worked for months, working 12- hour days cleaning floors and tearing down wallpaper with one baby strapped to my back, and others playing in the playpen. Ha! It was all starting to come together but it wasn't quite finished. It was going to take a lot of money effort as well as my favourite brands of furniture to furnish this home. My sons, my husband and I were looking for the hidden treasures going to estate sales in order to help keep my spending under control. It was our weekly routine to walk around garage sales and auctions on the weekend as well as purchase various of furniture, both new and old created. My work days were spent on the drive either painting or sanding. My passion for restoration of furniture began with a look that was similar to this. Even though the house had been decorated, I was unable to stop. Markets in town had room for me to market my items. I eventually had so many pieces I didn't know what to do and my storage space was a mess. The house became a venue that I hosted open houses where up 1000 people would be able to view items from the first floor, and then purchase these items. My business Growing Days began here. My business was not only flourishing, but I was also growing my sweet family too. As a young mom I was able to find the perfect way to be able to begin my own business as well as become a great mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. Nora joined us in 2013 and became our fourth baby. I was thrilled with where my company was heading but I needed a break. I took some time away from furniture that was vintage to enjoy some quality time with my children. The time was right. It was only after several months when the phones began to call. I started receiving messages from individuals asking to help with their home improvement and interior design. They had mainly visited my house at the open houses to purchase furniture. I started taking on some clients at a time working at my own pace however it wasn't long before I had multiple accounts and was running an entire home improvement business. If you'd have predicted that this venture that I started would become an idea for a TV show on DIY Network I probably would have laughed. In the present, as I reflect on the situation, I find myself laughing.
