Jenna Fischer's most recognizable character is Pam Beesly in the highly popular TV show The Office. She received two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by the comedy's ensemble.
She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but was raised mostly in St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna was inspired by her mom's worship services as she began her career.
Fischer was a stage actress who was trained in her home country. The Off-Broadway show she starred in was the play Reasons to be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, as well as Fred Weller. The Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she starred alongside Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's hilarious comedy Meteor Shower.
